First Illustration Project - 3 Sketches & Final Submission into the Contest - CGT 251

Well, these are my three sketches (Comps) that I did for the first Illustration project. I really like the last one, so that is the one I picked as the final submission into the contest.

After reviewing the critiques I received from fellow classmates, I attempted some of thier suggestions. The Gradient of Black to White really seemed to distract and make the logo hard to read on the side views. I ultimately chose to make it a cleaner straight line transition from my original composition and submitted it at my final product. :)

Well, our next assignemnt in the class I am taking is actually a competition to design the race car driver, Sarah Fisher's helmet for the "race for the cure" campaign.
